Very brief bio

Born and raised in the Detroit metro area in Michigan.

Double majored in Art History & Philosophy at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY. Got a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.

While a graduate student, taught lots of courses at Rutgers New Brunswick, Rutgers Newark, Upsala College, and NYU.

Spent a year at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri as a Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology fellow.

Now an assistant professor at Barnard College, Columbia University, in New York City.
